Cosmetic clinic Define snaps up premises in Alcester with the help of John Truslove
Distinctive offices in one of Alcester’s historic buildings are the new home of a thriving cosmetics clinic, thanks to the help of property agents John Truslove.
Marie Dolan has been able to move her Define business into the ideal premises that she says combines a central location with discreet access for her clients.
Shakespeare Chamber, at 3c High Street in Alcester, provides 699 sq ft and Marie has taken a three year lease at £8,500 per annum, negotiated with John Truslove.
“It’s a lovely building, dating back to around the 17th century, with exposed beams and whitewashed walls. Full of character and it provides lots of space as I expand my business.”
A professionally qualified nurse, Marie has worked in the aesthetics industry for a dozen years but decided to set up her own business providing a range of services including cosmetic injections, anti-ageing treatments, dermal fillers, lip fillers and skincare.
“I wanted somewhere that would be central and easy to access, but would also provide a degree of discretion; not everyone wants to broadcast the fact that they have been visiting a cosmetic clinic. At the same time, given the enormous growth in aesthetics and the clinical cosmetics market in recent years, I needed somewhere where my business could expand.
“I had been looking around for the right premises but then Ian Parker at John Truslove was able to point me at Shakespeare Court. It is ideal.
“John Truslove have been absolutely brilliant, I couldn’t fault them. They made the whole process really easy and have been really helpful.
“I was able to be in place very quickly and now I am looking to add to my business with training sessions for dentists, doctors and nurses.”
Landlord Larry Brown was happy with the deal too: “The premises were only empty a couple of days before the new tenant moved in. I knew John Truslove by reputation and they have been very good; they provided a very professional service and found us an excellent tenant.”
Ian Parker, joint managing director at John Truslove, said: “These are high quality offices in a historic market town and we are delighted to have been able to bring together a landlord and tenant in such short order.
“It is rare that any tenancy agreement should be completed so quickly but it was clearly in everyone’s best interests. We look forward to seeing Marie and her Define clinic thrive in their new home.”
Marie Dolan and Define were represented by Steve Baker from Lodders Solicitors in Stratford-upon-Avon. The landlords were also represented by Lodders.
