Expanding sportswear chain opens West Midlands hub with help from John Truslove
The fastest-growing sportswear chain in Europe has opened a new West Midlands base in Bromsgrove.
Commercial property agency John Truslove secured a deal for Macron Sports Hub West Midlands to move into a 1,411 sq ft unit at 10F Bruntsford Park Road, in Bromsgrove, on a three-year tenancy for £15,000 per annum.
It is one of seven Macron branches in the UK operated by Welsh-based AND Textiles, including one in Stoke, and saw the Bromsgrove branch move from its previous premises at Basepoint on the Bromsgrove Enterprise Park.
Founded in Italy and now operating worldwide, the Macron sportswear brand has added to its branch network with special hubs like the one at Bromsgrove.
Based outside of town centres, with easy access and plenty of parking space, in addition to sportswear sales these hubs offer space dedicated to partner clubs and their kit, with graphic designers and operators able to customise Macron garments.
The sports hubs also provide space for clubs to organise events such as presentations, workshops and press conferences.
Ian Parker, joint managing director at John Truslove, said: “Macron is a growing brand and we were delighted to be able to help operator AND Textiles take the Bromsgrove store to the next level, establishing their Macron Sports Hub West Midlands.
“This is a two-storey unit in an excellent business park location that provides an ideal base for this expanding business, housing its offices, retail space and storage.”
