Irish IT Group upgrades to Grosvenor House

Irish software group Version 1 has taken 6,219 sq ft at Grosvenor House in Redditch in a deal arranged by property agents John Truslove.

The move to Grade A accommodation builds on the company’s acquisition of Studley-based Beoley Mill Software in 2016.

Beoley Mill Software employed 100 people. Dublin headquartered Version 1 has more than 900 staff, eight international offices and revenue in the region of £87 million.

It has agreed a five-year letting on suite 7 at the refurbished office block in a prominent location in the town centre.

Ian Parker, a director of John Truslove, said: “Version 1 were seeking to upgrade and searched the Redditch/Bromsgrove area looking for somewhere suitable.

“They chose Grosvenor House on grounds of quality and location.”

Grosvenor House has been transformed by one of Redditch’s most influential property businesses, Loxton Developments.

Managing director Mark Roberts said: “It offers exceptional value for money for a quality modern office complex, enhancing an organisation’s credibility and helping build business.

“Competitive rents, a low service charge, good parking and flexible lease terms are all part of the package.”

Established in 1996 by CEO Justin Keatinge and colleague John Mullen, Version 1 has grown organically and through strategic acquisition to be a market leader in IT services. It entered the UK market in 2013.

Customers include leading insurance organisations, retailers, utilities, airlines and the public sector.

Grosvenor House tenants include the UK’s biggest cruise brokers Cruise.Co.UK, the UK’s largest independent occupational health provider Optima Health, and training services operator Learndirect.

John Truslove is marketing other suites at Grosvenor House ranging from 700 sq ft to 2,600 sq ft on competitive rents and flexible terms.
