John Truslove leaves the competition standing in latest commercial property rankings

Redditch-based commercial property experts John Truslove are still top of the leader board for deals completed across Worcestershire in the second quarter of 2023.

The firm came first in the county with 17 completed deals, and second in Warwickshire in the latest quarterly EG Radius On-Demand Rankings, the property trade national league table of commercial agents.

The company, in its 42nd year in business, was the top commercial property agent in Worcestershire for the whole of 2022 and has continued to build on its success.

Joint managing director Ian Parker said the most significant figure was John Truslove’s rise to second place for industrial space deals, behind global giant Avison Young, across the whole of the West Midlands.

John Truslove let or sold 89,305 sq ft between April and June. The firm also came fifth for office space with 25,076 sq ft.

“We have traditionally been seen as a Worcestershire and Warwickshire agency, but our reach is continuing to grow and we are receiving many more instructions and enquiries now for office, industrial and retail space across the West Midlands region as a whole.”

Joint managing director Ben Truslove said he sees little sign of the Worcestershire and Warwickshire markets slowing down as John Truslove has experienced a very bright start to the second half of the year, with a number of deals currently in the pipeline.

In particular, he highlighted the growing demand for solid commercial property investments.

Ben Truslove said: “The market remains strong, particularly in investment sales, where we completed £6.2 million worth of sales in the second quarter of 2023, which puts us in the Top 10 nationally.

Off-market deals included the sale of 5a Merse Road, Redditch, for £2.2 million to a property investment firm, 19-20 Bartleet Road, Redditch, for £1.7 million to a private London investor, and most recently Earlswood Trading Estate for £1.875 million.
