Quality is key for new door and window manufacturer after securing Redditch base with the aid of John Truslove

A young entrepreneur has launched a business making high quality uPVC windows and doors after securing a factory unit through the John Truslove property agency.

31-year-old Christopher Kailey has worked in the industry since joining his family’s firm but has now struck out on his own with Upvcwindors based at unit E1 on the East Moons Moat industrial estate in Redditch.

Ian Parker, joint managing director at commercial property agents John Truslove, worked with Mr Kailey on securing a five-year lease on the 2,575 sq ft lease on the factory unit, on Oxleasow Road.

The new business is focused on quality products and will even be featuring production footage on its website of its windows and doors being manufactured.

Christopher Kailey said: “I want people to see what they are buying, so they can have confidence. The transparency of our business is key, showing people exactly what we offer.

“I have seen customers being overcharged for poor quality windows and doors during my time working for many different uPVC companies. I am committed to offering high quality at affordable prices.

“We showcase our systems because we are proud of them – the Optima Sculptured System and Flush Casement System. They incorporate features that other systems lack without using gimmicks or quick fixes.

“We aren’t the cheapest on the market but you get what you pay for, and that means providing superior products and better service. Cheaper products often involve cutting corners and that’s not something we will ever do.”

Mr Kailey added: “The new unit is ideal for our purposes, and we were able to secure the keys in February to start installing our manufacturing equipment. The service from Ian Parker and the John Truslove team has been fantastic. They have the same attitude to quality customer service that we do.”

Ian Parker added: “Matching the right premises and landlord with the right new business is key in our field and it is one of the reasons why we are the leading commercial property agent in our area.

“Christopher Kailey is determined to forge a quality business and we have been delighted to help him find the right base to get started. We wish him well.”

K A Solicitors based in Perry Barr, Birmingham, acted for Upvcwindors in the tenancy agreement.
